Tillie's Punctured Romance is the first feature-length slapstick comedy produced by the Keystone Film Company, and the last film Chaplin neither wrote nor directed. Directed by Mack Sennett and starring some of the most famous actors of this time such as Mabel Normand, Marie Dressler and the Keystone Cops. Chaplin plays a con artist who talks an innocent country girl Tillie into running off to the city with him and with her father's savings. There he abandons Tillie and runs off with her money and his beautiful ex-girlfriend Mabel.
